Saw an exhibit of creepy and compelling nudes and still lifes by Hungarian Istvan Sandorfi. On a Tuesday morning the place was deserted so we got the art, and the excellent pianist, to ourselves.

Every now and then you step into a gallery that completely captures you. This is one of them. The hyperrealism paintings are not only technically beautiful but thought-provoking and mesmerizing.
